About the Empire State Cup

The 3rd Annual Empire State Cup returns to Syracuse, New York from July 31-August 3, 2014. The Empire State Cup was designed in 2012 to give high school boys lacrosse players in the state of New York another opportunity to be seen and recruited playing at the highest level of competition possible. The 2014 Cup will introduce four new divisions which include; Girls High School Lacrosse, Boys Developmental Lacrosse, Varsity Football and Junior Varsity Football . Also new to 2014 will be a Boys High School Indoor Lacrosse division which will take place October 10-13. The Empire State Cup understands the importance of being seen, and how to be recruited, and focuses on tryouts rather than tournament day as the focus to get more athletes exposed to college coaches. The cup is designed to see who indeed is the best region in the Empire State.
