You now can register online for Empire State Cup Regional Tryouts! We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover, eCheck, or if you prefer, there are provisions for you to send in your payment by check. Personal checks received as of June 5th will not be deposited, they will be processed as an ‘eCheck’. If you are selected as a team member, ALL FEES for those who make their regional team are required by Wednesday, July 1st to participate and to be included in the Coaches Booklet.  Checks can be made payable to Empire State Cup and mailed to

You will receive one confirmation eMail from Empire State Cup (tony@empirestatecup.com) once you’ve completed your on-line registration.  Please notify us immediately (tony@empirestatecup.com) if you do not receive this confirmation email within 24 hours of completing your registration.

Please DO NOT register twice; you will incur an additional processing fee. If you have already registered on-line for 2014 and need to make an additional or new payment of the camp fee by Credit or Debit card, we need the following limited information to expedite the charge. Please e-mail us or call (315-408-8260) to leave the information requested below in a message.  A confirmation email will be forwarded to the email address you entered when registering, within 24 hours.

  • The Participant’s full name
  • The Team the Participant has registered for
  • Your Visa or Master Card #
  • The expiration date
  • Your phone number should we need to contact you

Empire State Cup FEES AND DEPOSITS

Tryout Fee: $75

Fee includes event management and operations fees, staff fees, game official fees, team reversibles, and other player and team fees.

Each team coach, working with the Empire State Cup Staff, will establish their players’ fees by selecting one of the two team options (based on availability) *Please note these payments are to be made by check made out to Empire State Cup.

  • Basic Team Package which includes: uniform (top & bottom) and add ons such as shooting shirt, custom headwarp
  • Premium Team Package which includes: Basic Team Package plus custom team helmet, arm guards, gloves


Basic Team Package: $400.00 (includes a $10.00 registration processing fee)

Premium Team Package: Varies(includes a $10.00 registration processing fee

Fee includes event management and operations fees, staff fees, game official fees, team reversibles, and other player and team awards.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy without Cancellation Insurance:

If for any reason you have to cancel your registration, you will be issued a credit for all fees paid to the event, less the online registration processing fee ($10); if you cancel before 10 days of the scheduled event. This credit will be valid for any Empire State Cup event for one year from the date the registration was made and is transferable to another immediate family member. If you cancel within 10 days of the event, no credit or refunds will be issued. No exceptions.

Cash refunds will only be issued if Empire State Cup Cancellation Insurance has been purchased.

Cancellation Policy with Cancellation Insurance:

Cancellation Insurance is available to be purchased at the time of your registration for identified programs. This insurance guarantees you full cash reimbursement of all fees paid upon registration, less the online registration processing fee($10), if you cancel before 10 days of the event for which you registered. If you have to cancel within 10 days of the event you will receive a 50% credit to a future Empire State Cup event, valid for one year from the date the registration was made. Empire State Cup Cancellation Insurance fee is non-refundable.

Once the program for which you are registered has begun, no refund or credits will be issued. Pro-rated cash refunds or credits will not be provided.

Inclement Weather Policy:

In the event of inclement weather, Empire State Cup will make every effort to continue the scheduled program at the discretion of the event director. If extreme weather occurs, such as lightening, extreme heat, hail, etc., Empire State Cup may be forced to cancel the scheduled program in order to protect player participants and staff. If an event is canceled due to weather, a notice will be posted on our website’s bulletin board and an email will be sent out to you. We encourage parents to make arrangements for the pick up of their children, if the weather suddenly turns or if lightning, tornado or severe weather warnings are issued. There will be no partial refunds or full refunds due to unforeseeable weather circumstances.

Cancelled Program Policy:

Empire State Cup reserves the right to cancel an event for any reason. If there is low enrollment or a facility change and we are forced to cancel the event, you will be refunded all monies paid to Empire State Cup.


About Empire State Cup

The Empire State Cup was designed in 2012 to give high school boys lacrosse players in the state of New York another opportunity to be seen and recruited playing at the highest level of competition possible.

The 2015 Cup will introduced a new format with 3 divisions for boys and girls lacrosse and a brand new 7 v 7 football division.

Lacrosse Divisions are by graduation year 2015, 2017 & 2019. Players can only play for one division, and are eligible to play up a level.

ESC now has introduced football with two divisions of 7 v 7

Graduation years 2016 & 2018.

The cup is designed to see who indeed is the best region in the Empire State.
